At RRATs, we’re passionate about nature and love exploring the outdoors. That’s why we craft high-quality sandals designed for all terrains, blending simplicity with the latest technology and a strong commitment to sustainability. Our sandals deliver exceptional grip, comfort, and long-lasting durability, along with outstanding ankle support and a zero-drop sole for natural movement.
RRATs are designed, produced, and managed at the foothills of Montserrat—a unique mountain near Barcelona that we see right from our headquarters. The trails and landscapes of Montserrat are not just our inspiration, but our playground and R&D lab, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees.
That’s where our name comes from: RRATs—because we’re part of MontseRRAT! Our goal is simple: to create sandals that take you seamlessly from a seaside stroll to rugged mountain trails, all with just one pair.

RRAT's inspiration: Our land
We love our environment. Whether it’s sunrise or sunset, atop a mountain or by the sea, we’re always inspired by nature’s beauty. Any excuse to wander through the mountains, forests, or along the ‘caminos de ronda’ is a good one.
We feel lucky to live where we do—surrounded by nature every day. From towering cliffs meeting the sea to lush forests and fantastic mountains perfect for all kinds of outdoor adventures, the landscape around us is truly our own special “backyard.”
